Carolina Cup Dress, Lilly Pulitzer // Derby Hat, Marley Lilly // Bracelets, Glitter Box Jewelry via Etsy; LC Lauren Conrad; Alex & Ani // Ring, Urban Outfitters [similar] // Mid-wedges, Jack Rogers
That’s a lie. The Derby Days aren’t even close. But I scooped up this Carolina Cup Dress (still on sale!) upon the end of the season and could not be more smitten. I suppose it will just have to make a second debut come next year!

This weekend I stopped in Kate Spade New York‘s Newbury Street store, where they were celebrating French fashion blogger Garance Doré and her illustrations featured as a part of the brand’s new capsule collection. I am absolutely smitten with this line: peter pan collars, French script, and bow details– what is not to j’adore?
Rainey Dress, $498
Studio Pull Over, $128
Laura Top, $248
Umbrella, $78
Georgie Pouch, $98

All in all, I would like to get my hands on one of these pieces more than most things. Which is your favorite?
The thought of summer ending actually sickens me, though I have to admit, there really is nothing like a late summer sunset. When the sky is so warm that you don’t even need an Instagram filter? Now there’s something to be said for that in this day and age 🙂

I have recently, or maybe not so recently anymore, discovered a love for arm parties. Now a part of my daily arm party? A stack of Alex & Ani bangles. I guest posted about these pretty little bracelets on Fashion is Freedom a while ago, but the obsession has only grown since then.
l-r: Crab Expandable // Mermaid Expandable, $28 // Sand Dollar Wrap, $38 // Nautical Expandable (Charm of the Month— on sale!), $23 // Starfish Expandable, $28
These eco-friendly bangles are designed to adorn the body, enlighten the mind, and empower the spirit. Best of all? They are made in America.
Now good luck trying to decide on which charms you’re going to buy– I’m willing to bet money on there being at least one charm perfect for everyone, from their Sorority Collection, to your favorite baseball team, to your university. Then deciding between silver and gold? You’re about to have your work cut out for you… 😉

Sari dress, Silly Yeti c/o Nancy’s Gone Green
Bracelets, Alex & Ani
Dreamcatcher earrings, unknown [similar]
Yesterday I introduced you all to eco-boutique Nancy’s Gone Green at SoWa and Greenway Open Market, and today I’m showing off one of my pretty purchases!
I was so drawn to these Silly Yeti dresses, each handmade in Nepal from recycled sari silks. Each dress is one of a kind, so you can imagine how hard it was to pick out just one to purchase (I think I tried on three or four!). The straps are adjustable, and many come with sashes, so they can easily fit many different body types.
Can we also talk about this skirt? Hello pom pom ties! Pretty sure my hippie side would be content living in these fabric for the remainder of the summer.
Remember that even if you aren’t in Boston, you can still order these beauties + others online from Nancy’s Gone Green!
As long as I’ve been in Boston, I’ve loved spending Sundays at the SoWa Open Market in the South End, and I’m so excited that an expansion of it, Greenway Open Market, is now open on Saturdays along the Rose Kennedy Greenway. At both of these outdoor set-ups, you can find the most adorable little eco-boutique, Nancy’s Gone Green.
Nancy and Mary, a mother-daughter team, opened Nancy’s Gone Green in 2008 with the hope to make our world a little bit more beautiful, every day. And beautiful, they make it. I would buy their entire stock of inventory if I could, from the eco-chic dressesskirtsshirts and more, to the fair trade and recycled jewelry and accessories. The best part is how affordable the products are– half under $50… how often do you see that in small boutiques??
Greenway Open Market is open every Saturday June through October, and SoWa is open every Sunday May through October. Though if you’re not in Boston, you can order everything found at their shop online here!
Mini glimpse of things making me smile lately… happy new week! xx
I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve never been a huge fan of gingham. Shocking, right, considering my tendencies to lean toward vintage-y preppy granny looks at times? But I am attempting it today, in honor of Friday’s Fancies, and actually am growing quite smitten with this particular little frock. Perfect for the dog days of summer.
Sabrina Dress, Altuzarra for J.Crew, $100 (sale!)
Bee Studs, BaubleBar, $24
Coated Canvas Weekender, Anthropologie, $150 (sale!)
Levona Sandals, Fitzwell, $48 (sale!)
Picnic, anyone?
Flamingo Tiered Chiffon Dress, LC Lauren Conrad // Blazer, Forever 21 [similar 1; 2] // Pearls, J.Crew // Bracelets, LC Lauren Conrad; Glitter Box Jewelry; // Shoes, Mariana by GOLC [similar]
I’ve developed a new love for a certain long-legged pink bird lately, seen in the LC Lauren Conrad dress above, as well as this Lilly skirt. Is it possible to not feel happy while flamingos adorn your clothing? Don’t think so.
