So now that this blistery season truly has come a knocking, I’m jazzed about a wardrobe refresh. I’ve been buying creamy white sweaters like its my job, and I didn’t even wince when I pulled out some fall booties for the first time this week {granted, they were peep-toe}. Now, I need another coat like I need a hole in the head, but how fetch is the idea of pastels for fall? GROUNDBREAKING guys let’s give it a go.

I would love to shake the hand of the person who brought the idea of pom-pom-tassel-straw-tote-bags back to 2016. Related, I have to wonder if they’re loving it, or really just laughing at us all.



I was buying a billowy, trapezey dress in a boutique recently, and when the 19-year-old sales associate complimented me on my choice and told me it was “so flattering on,” I had to laugh because said dress could not have been flattering on anyone except maybe 















You could tell me it was February, you could tell me it was June, and I’d believe you. I don’t remember April even happening, and yet here we are four days from the end of the month. I’d be lying if I said my head was anywhere other than work, husband, fam, and remembering to shave my legs now that sundress weather has almost reappeared, but here are just a few things distracting me this April::
