I admit it. I’ve become a homebody.
Blame it on being engaged. Blame it on the suburbs. Truly I blame it on winter, but another story for another day.
Then every once in a while I get the itch to get out and do it up big. Put on some heels and lippy and have a crazy girls’ night out.
But the linessss. But the coverrrrrr. But the creepy mennnnn.
I’ve found the solution to all these petty complaints. It’s like Uber met OpenTable and had a little nightlife baby and it’s called Tablelist.
Tablelist is a new mobile app that allows you to book table service (you’ve probably heard it called bottle service) at your favorite bars and clubs right through your phone.
But table service is so expensive! Not necessarily so. Think about it this way:: At most Boston bars, a mixed drink can be upwards of $12. One or two of those later, and think about how much you’re spending. Get your group to put that money toward table service instead, and you’ll be drinking the same amount in an exclusive, blocked-off section just for you and your friends. Minus the cover. Minus the line. Minus the hassle.
I love that you can search for available tables by venue, or by location. I find that more times than not my friends tell me they want to go to a certain area (Back Bay, Seaport, etc.) rather than a certain bar.
In addition to booking, you can also pay for everything and split the bill with your friends right through the app. No more dealing with sketchy promoters or figuring out how to split a bill and tip on ten different credit cards.
Hello, bachelorette season.
Not all for crazy nights out? I used the app to book a weeknight happy hour at MiniBar! Because sometimes Prosecco on a Tuesday is necessary.
And oh my gawd look at that I even dressed up a little! Winter white jeans + heels are about as dressy as I can go until summer hits again. This has become a go-to outfit for evenings out in the Bean.

Tablelist is currently in Boston, NYC, San Francisco, Miami, DC, The Hamptons, Foxwoods, AND Las Vegas, and they are offering my readers a $50 credit— just use promo code EMILYGVIP when you sign up.
Sooo, anyone want to add me to their table?
Full disclosure: I was provided a complimentary night out on behalf of Tablelist for the purpose of review. All opinions expressed are my own.
