Merry merry twenty-seven-teen!
I don’t think that number has really sunk in yet. TWO THOUSAND AND SEVENTEEN. Time freakin’ flies.
It’s been humbling to reflect on the last year and think about all of the good memories that did come with 2016 {there were a few!}. But with such reflections come the reminders of everything I’ve “been meaning to get to” and still haven’t. I’ve had a bag of clothes to donate in my car for three months. I’ve been meaning to get rid of an old desk in my room for over a year. I haven’t talked to some of my best friends on the phone in at least six months {Snapchat doesn’t cut it}. I’ve been meaning to spend a day at Cradles to Crayons.
We’ll go to that museum next month…we’ll ask them out to dinner after the holidays…we’ll hang those photos when we have a free afternoon…
It’s January 5th, so, resolutions are still fresh on a lot of our minds. This year I’m forgoing such loosy goosey self-improvements I’ve tried to make in the past…drink more water, eat out less, be better about keeping in touch…in favor of some more tangible to-do’s.
Some are silly, some have a deeper meaning. I’ll keep you updated on how I do & why I’ve done them.

*My sweet best friend designed our custom Christmas card pictured above, and she doesn’t know it yet, but she’s the first one I’ll be going to when I need to place that stationery order. Check out her new shop, Little Korner Store, for custom invitations, stamps, ornaments, notepads, and other beautiful hand-lettered goodness.
