WALKIN’.
All over town, actually.
BF and I had a rare not-a-thing-on-the-schedule weekend day recently. [Ok, there was a lot of football on the schedule, but it was too perfectly crisp outside to stay in all day.] We couldn’t muster the energy to rent a car, and I was craving a walk over a drive anyway. So we headed downtown to an area that’s been my happy place since I moved here almost eight years ago:: The Public Garden.
Cliche, whatever.

But the crunchy leaves! The hot coffee in hand! Picture-perfect fall day in the prettiest of settings.
The fine team at PlanetShoes.com sent me these riding boots to complete the image. I don’t understand the concept of uncomfortable boots [I’d wear heels if I wanted to be in pain, right?], but I know they unfortunately exist. THESE are not them and are so, so comfortable and soft. I walked around all day in them, through the Garden, down Newbury Street for sushi, lattes, and window shopping, and over to Comm Ave to make our way home. They are the best riding walking boots I’ve ever gotten my hands on, and I know they will be accompanying me on a lot of our upcoming adventures.
PlanetShoes is giving my readers 20% off their purchase from now until December 31st. Just use code SHELLCHICD20 at checkout! I’m also loving these booties, these Sperrys (obviously– and on sale!), and these weather-proof cuties.
Let me know what you pick up and where your new shoes end up taking you!
