The Hamptons
Sixteen plus hours spent in buses and cars this past weekend was no walk in the park, but was more than worth it for a trip to East Hampton, New York to surprise + celebrate one of my best friend’s birthdays. As much as I love New England in the summer, it was a real treat to take a mini vacation to The Hamptons and enjoy some super soft sand, noticeably warmer ocean water, beach bonfires, and of course drinks + laughter with a group of my best college friends.
Weekend trips like these are what constantly keep my motivation up, especially on Mondays! Do you have any planned for this summer?

Reveal
Last month I had the wonderful opportunity to attend The Massachusetts College of Art and Design’s student fashion show: MassArt REVEAL. What a fun experience, especially since I was heavily involved in my college’s Fashion Society and fashion show once upon a time. The models [and designers] rocked it at the new Revere Hotel’s Space 57, where I got to sit front row with the sweetest Zoe of Fashion is Freedom! [I’m so spoiled.]
There are some seriously talented designers roaming around MassArt, and I’m so glad I got the chance to see such beautiful and unique designs so intimately. You can view more photos from the show on my Flickr!
Dancin’ Pants
I’m straying far from fashion + style today, but only because my heart is so full.
When I graduated from college, I was terrified that dance would become a thing of my past. Wrong as usual. I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing group of people in DanceWorks Boston. A week in the theater this season felt like eternity, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way and couldn’t be prouder of the show we just put on.
I always hear people say that they “used to dance.” Guys and gals, it doesn’t have to be a used to if you don’t want it to be.
