Sommes rentrés de Pari!!!
{Even remotely correct grammar?}
Our friends tied the knot in one of the most stunning, love-seeped ceremonies I have ever had the pleasure of attending in Paris last week. Like something out of a romcom fairytale. What else would you expect for the most romantic city in the world?
Having been to Paris before, we spent our days walking and wandering until the blisters on my feet could take no more. With the exception of one short day, the weather was glooooorious – we’re twinning with this Indian Summer stuff coughclimatechangecoughpayattentioncough.
I’ll be back laters with more doors Paris snapshots, but a quick look at my chic AF travel outfit first::
{I can call it that because it was half-picked out for me by someone else.}
These pants came home with me after the most wonderful morning at the MM LaFleur Boston pop-up shop a couple weeks ago. By appointment only, MM hooks you up with a stylist in their gorgeous Newbury Street showroom. Sip on champs while they pull looks based on your style, requests, and needs – something for the office, for travel, for date night. Initially, I only saw it as a resource for working professionals who don’t have either the time or interest in shopping for themselves, yet need to look A+. And while it is, I—as someone who takes extreme pleasure in shopping for herself—even enjoyed kicking back with some bubbles and handing over the reigns. This is a TOTAL Pretty Woman kind of experience, and I couldn’t recommend it enough.
Also, these incredibly comfortable MM LaFleur Foster Pants are SELF. HEMMING. Have I been living under a rock? Is this not revolutionary? There are hidden buttons inside so you can adjust to the right length if you’re a lazy cheap shorty like me who avoids purchasing anything that requires tailoring!
This cray-cozy shawl vest shenanigan doubled as my blanket on the plane, and is from—wait for it—The Paper Store. Stationery is just the beginning there folks. I always knew they had an extensive jewelry and accessory section but had no idea how cute the clothes were. They are drowning in fun fall pieces – I immediately gravitated toward this sweet cowl neck sweater.
I threw this corduroy backpack in my basket on a whim, and it ended up being my end-all-be-all bag for the trip. Yes Mommmm I was sure to keep it in sight at all times especially on the metro ok?

I’ve been in funk ever since we almost missed our flight had to take a 50 euro Uber got back, so I’m off to stuff my face with some wine and a sad American excuse for pan au chocolat. A bientot!
