Happy happy worst month ever March kids! Here’s everywhere I’m drinking loving in the Bean lately::
I’ve found myself becoming somewhat of a stalker regular at Citrus & Salt in Back Bay this year. And this is me claiming my territory before the general population goes all Tatte on it and makes it the go-to spot for millennial pink grams. This coastal Mexican restaurant’s cocktail menu is TDF even if it is embarrassing AF to order something called Take Your Pants Off, and the Flaming Cheeto Mexican Street Corn is hotter than a shirtless Dean Unglert. No I was not given free food to say this but I would v. much like some are you listening Jason Santos?
Have you been to Seaport lately? It’s like wow, suddenly we live in a real city. The new ShowPlace ICON opened this week and it is not your momma’s movie theater. Heated seats, a lounge and bar, floor-to-ceiling/wall-to-wall screens, and digital laser projection whatever that means.
The Godfrey Hotel Boston turned 2! It was #bloggersgonewild at their second birthday party earlier this month, and I cannot think of a more fun hotel for a little Boston staycation. Parked right in Downtown Crossing, it’s a saucy little spot to hole up in after a dinner downtown or theater show.
Speaking of, Boston Ballet’s Romeo & Juliet waltzes into the Boston Opera House March 15 – April 8. Will report back with my champagne-influenced review thoughts in a couple weeks!
I posted about the new Casper location in Chestnut Hill last week, and have gotten a million like three follow ups about their mattresses since. We have only indulged in the sheets and pillows, but if you are in the market for a mattress, I have heard nothing but fabbity things. You’re given a 100-night trial period, and since they come rolled up, you’ll never have to worry about how to get the thing in your fourth-floor 600-sq-ft Beacon Hill bach pad. Blessed.
But now GD winter storm permitting I’m outta here! Follow along our California marriage test road trip on Instagram:: @emilyshell + #jetsetchicd!
