While I can certainly appreciate the value of a good Tory Burch clutch, sometimes I just need something a little more practical and easy on the wallet.  And with summer coming up, I can’t help but get excited about the perfect carryall: oversized tote bags.  Durable, endless pits, they are the best for beach days.  And at these prices, I just can’t resist.  Many of these finds also donate proceeds to charity 🙂

GSG Graduates

Well, we did it!  On Monday , Emerson College’s Class of 2011 graduated at Boston’s Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theater.  It was a long day and an even longer senior week leading up to it, but so much fun and full of so many great memories (cliche much?).

It hasn’t even been a week and yet I miss all of my friends already.  Some are flying back to LA, some starting life in New York City, others moving into grad school.  I’m so proud of each and every one of them and am so excited for what they are all about to experience!

No, I’m not going.  I may look young but believe it or not I am past this time in my life.  BUT my little brother is going to his senior prom this weekend!  One thing I miss about high school is all of the excuses I had to dress shop.  I couldn’t resist keeping my eye open on some semi-formal/formal styles this month, with all of the prom glory in the air.  So just in case you do have an event to attend, here are some of my favorites.  And sorry, but I’ve just always been bias to short dresses– even at prom (see below for the short full skirt–we called it the cupcake dress)!

Last Minute Easter Dresses…

Whether you’re going to church or not, and whether you’re spending it with your family, girlfriends, or the dorms, Easter Sunday is still the perfect excuse to whip out a new spring dress.  I’ll never forget my two best friends growing up always talking about going shopping to pick out their Easter dresses with Mom.  Well, you’ve got two days left to pick out yours, and here are some of my favorites from my go-to stores:
