[Pie] Pop It Lock It Drop It
Remember that time I made cake pops? The obsession continues.
My little brother, getting to be quite the good gift giver in his old age, got me a BabyCakes Pie Pop Maker for Christmas. I toyed with it a few times during the holidays, but whipped it out again this week to make some pops for my book club.
too cute.
too easy.
too delicious.
Do you have any BabyCakes makers? I think I’m going to have my heart set on the mini donut maker next. Donut pops anyone…?!
Birthday Week
Birthday weeks always remind me how incredibly lucky I am to have such wonderful and caring people in my life. Some snapshots from a couple celebrations this week…Â linking up with a {little} dash of ash!

Beauty on the Streets
This past warm Saturday, I ventured out with my camera trying to soak up as much warm goodness as I could. Yet I found myself pretty darn uninspired. Face it kids, fall is long gone. And the colors of winter just aren’t rocking my world lately. So I stopped looking at landscapes and searching for remnants of orange and crisp leaves, and instead tried to pay attention to the mundane scenes on my street that I walk by every day but hardly pay attention to. And you know, I found them quite pretty.
Here’s the evidence via Instagram, and as always, linking up with a {little} dash of ash for Instagram Monday!

Maison Ladurée
It’s no secret that I love French macarons. Love actually might be an understatement. That’s why I was thrilled when I got to make a quick stop at Maison LadurĂ©e on Madison Ave while in NYC this past weekend.
I counted the days for this little Parisian bakery to open from the moment I first heard it was coming stateside, and I first visited it in November during my last New York trip. I even attempted to make my own macarons in the meantime. But let me tell you, the real thing? Nothing even compares.
Have you visited any of the Ladurée locations, in the U.S. or overseas? Tell me your favorite flavors if so, I have yet to try all of them!
