Happy Friday you all!
You might notice from above. That I finally. Got. THE SHOES.
I deliberated forever and finally realized I couldn’t go on without them. So I clicked buy on these Mariana by GOLC babies without looking back.
And then they didn’t show up.
UPS seems to have gotten a little confused while delivering them. I found them two days after I received notice that they had “been delivered” …two doors down on the steps to a laundry room.
Clearly my address is a laundry room.
But no matter, I have them now and adore them! I paired them with an ancient linen skirt from Old Navy and a plain white tank from H&M, plus my trusty J Crew pearls.
I also must give props to the customer service team at Endless Shoes. They offered to send me a new pair before we were even sure that they were lost. Problem was I had ordered the last ones in my size…!
Now on a different note, I have a question.
I know I have too many clothes. It’s not even that I’m a total excessive shopper (just a bit of one), it’s more that I just hate getting rid of pieces (because, like that Old Navy skirt, sometimes I find great uses for them much later!). But how do celebrities and stylists, who have more clothing than I’m sure they know what to to with, do it? I guess their Hollywood Hills homes are equipped with oversized walk-in closets, but how do they pack during moves? Because I am in the midst of moving out of my apartment and I am at a total loss as to a) how to organize my packing without needing a truck just for dresses and b) where I am going to put it all when I get to my new place with a much smaller closet…
Any advice??
