I think we could also call this jade? Eucalyptus even? But those just don’t lend themselves to any good puns, at least not with this little amount of coffee in my system.
A little lighter than sage, a little dustier than mint, matcha green clothing and homeware has been creeping into my shopping cart more than once lately. While I’ll stick with rose tea lattes, I am LURVing this color for winter –> spring transition pieces.

A new year, a new color palette!
Greenery was recently revealed as the PANTONE Color of the Year 2017. And I’ll be honest with ya. Not sure if I’m feeling it yet. I’m most attracted to either side of the hue—dark emeralds or pale mints. Greenery is just a liiiiitttle too mossy for me. Yet, like most things, once it becomes a trend, I’m sure I’ll be giving it a second look.

Are you little leprechauns rocking green today?
Just like red and pink on St. Valentine’s Day, even at my age I can’t help but get into the spirit and wear green on St. Patrick’s Day. This springy look would have been more appropriate on last year’s St. Patty’s Day (hello 72 degrees and sunny!), but I can guarantee you even if it hits above 50 this year, I’ll be excited enough to rock a sundress.

By now you’ve all heard that Emerald is Pantone’s 2013 Color of the Year. We talked emerald in fashion a while back, but how pretty would this color look splashed into a home? Around the holidays, I purchased a new deep green sweater from the Polo RL Factory Store. The salesman and I were chatting about how it’s a shame that this color only seems to be widely available at Christmastime. Wrong we were, at least for this year, because Emerald is Pantone’s 2013 Color of the Year!
I’m a little excited to say the least, and can’t wait to continue pairing it with navy– one of my favorite color combos.
