I’m guest posting over on one of my favorite blogs today about a fantastic event I attended last week at Alex and Ani. Go check it out on Fashion is Freedom! And a huge thanks to darling Zoe for having me 🙂
#BBBos Recap
If you had told me a year ago that so much of my life today would revolve around social media, I would have laughed in your face. Probably also would have laughed at myself. But that’s the way it is and I could not be more excited about it!
This weekend I attended Blog Better Boston, a conference put on by two amazing bloggers, Amy of Stylish Year and Alana of The Good Girl Gone Blog. I got to catch up with some good blogging pals plus meet a bunch of lovely new ones, and learned a lotta lot about this crazy world of blogs + social media + networking. It’s truly amazing, and I was inspired by so many people who are really conquering it in the best of ways.
Here are some snapshots from the day– linking up with a {little} dash of ash for Instagram Monday!
Business cards ready to go
DIY swag bags… because who would appreciate this more than bloggers??
Mini chocolate + orange cupcakes during break thanks to Eventbrite
Super swag bag, full of goodies from Real Simple, Stephanie Johnson, Pretzel Crisps, Indie Lee, Stonewall Kitchen, Alex & Isabelle, INDi, INPINK, and Garden Botanika.
The only downside to a conference like this is the fact that I now want to spend all waking hours working on this little blog of mine. So hopefully you’ll be seeing some spring cleaning around here very soon…!
Five Golden Rings
…or one golden clutch.
Dress, H&M
Locket, CatBird
Bracelet, Bfrend
Pumps, Steve Madden
Sequinned clutch, Zara
I wore this lacey number and my favorite sequinned gold clutch out last week to the Boston Bloggers Holiday Fiesta, hosted by the lovely av of {long distance loving} and Katy of Modly Chic! I had so much fun catching up with some of my blogger gal pals from Rendez-Vous New England this past fall, meeting many new faces and friends, and just celebrating the holidays! And I sure don’t hate an excuse to dress up.
In other news, five days until Christmas…!
Punkin’ Huntin’!
Last weekend, Sarah of Hemenway Street and Stephanie of That’s Better hosted the cutest. fall. event. ever. We went apple and pumpkin picking at Lookout Farms in Natick, MA and then spent the afternoon painting and glittering pumpkins and leaves [you know I’m a fan of anything having to do with glitter] and eating the most delicious pumpkin treats baked by Stephanie!
I met these two girls back at Rendez-Vous New Engand and was so thrilled for a chance to hang out with them again! We already brought up the idea of a holiday meet-up, so New England bloggers stay tuned.
Here are some of my favorite photos from the day… so hard to narrow down! We couldn’t have asked for better weather, so don’t be afraid of those ominous clouds in some of the backgrounds…!

Free Fallin’
Another perfect autumn weekend here in New England. I got to spend Saturday with some lovely ladies… pumpkin hunting, apple picking, and sparkle crafting! Full recap to come when I can sort through my 200 photos, but here’s some instagrams to give you a little taste of fall 🙂
Don’t forget to link up today with a {little} dash of ash to share your weekend Instagrams!
