After hearing about the famous antique fair in Brimfield, MA for ages, I decided it was finally time to make the drive out toward Western Mass and see what all the fuss was about. Oh oh oh, was it worth it! I read Shauna’s tips beforehand, and I admit I would have been pretty lost without them. Booth after booth [for a mile!] of vintage furniture, kitchenware, clothing, handbags, jewelry, luggage, and millions of little knick-knacks. I can’t wait to show you what I came home with, but it’s turning into a project that deserves a post of its own!
Comfy shoes are the only way to go. And ones you don’t mind getting a little dirtied up! The fair does take place over a number of fields.

Brimfield has wrapped for 2013, but will return again in May, July, and September of next year. Have you been to it, or other antique fairs/vintage markets? What are some of your best tips?
