There is nothing quite comfier on these chilly fall days than a lined pair of moccasins. I’ve always loved the look of ballet flat mocs, but lately I am all about some of these fringe boot styles too!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if I could pinpoint my style with two stores, it would be Anthropologie and Lilly Pulitzer. That’s why I am just jittery with excitement over the fact that today’s Friday’s Fancies on {long distance loving} is all about Lilly! And her jungle glam resort collection, that is 🙂
It takes a lot in me to not focus this whole outfit around Lilly items, because that could easily have been done. Instead I chose to include just two Lilly pieces and branch out a little with the rest– what do you think?

Awkward:
-Getting kicked out of Starbucks at 6:20 pm when they close at 7, so the employee could wash the floors. I understand, you’ve had a long day, but when I worked in the food industry, we didn’t even begin cleaning until our actual closing time. And even then we didn’t kick out dawdlers!
-Being caught as a part of the only group in costume not once but twice this Halloween season.
-Forgetting where the question mark key [?] is on my computer while typing this morning. How does that even happen?

-Going to NEW YORK this weekend to see my bff [kTk]!
-Hanging out with a certain funny character from a certain movie [Superbad] last weekend 🙂
-My Halloween outfit pictured above [since my office was not keen on dressing in costume] is pumpkin-themed!

I think I mentioned last week, I saw this movie recently…
Not only did I cry through most the whole thing because of the great story which I can personally relate to, but I also fell in love with Felicity Jones’s character’s style. And she showed up for a Q&A after the screening, have I mentioned that too? 🙂
But anyway, the character and the actress inspired me to put together this boho feminine look, also a perfect way to debut my Missoni for Target steal!

I have a new love.
The Lepidoptera Dress.
This is an interesting one though. It didn’t hit stores until late summer, and even though it is full of some gorgeous fall hues, I knew I wasn’t going to be warm wearing just it throughout fall.
Enter some cozy scuffed boots and a pullover burnt orange sweater with an extra 30% off courtesy of a couple thread pulls I located. Now we’re in business for 50-degree Beantown.
