I am suddenly loving the look of studs! They give such a fun and glam look to accessories. Some of my studded favorites on this fine Tuesday Shoesday…
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…
Instagrams from around the city as the holiday gets closer and closer! Linking up with a {little} dash of ash!
inspi(red)
In honor of World AIDS Day yesterday, {av}‘s Friday’s Fancies is themed Fashionably Inspi(red). Join(RED) is a program that works all year round to eliminate this terrible epidemic, fighting to deliver an AIDS Free Generation.
The work that my classmates used to do to support this cause always made me so incredibly proud. Emerson Fights AIDS Week is put on every year by my alma mater’s Musical Theater Society and an EFA Committee, but it was, and is still, something that virtually every organization on campus participates in and donates to.
Here’s my fashionably inspi(red) outfit, what I’d wear to spread awareness!
Structured Sleeveless Skater Dress, Topshop
Ruby Red and Gold Handpainted Crystal Necklace, Spike the Punch
Ron Ron Glitter Heels, Christian Louboutin
Poly Canvas Bow Hair Clip, American Apparel
Romeo & Juliet Book Clutch, Kate Spade
Sequin + Shine
I had been wondering if Anthropologie was going to give into the sequin styles this season! But in true Anthro fashion, they have made the trend their own. Here are some sparkly pieces on my lust list:

post script. Happy December! I think I’m going to make it my goal to wear at least one glittery item every day this month. Don’t worry, you know I’ll document it.

Linking up with The Pleated Poppy‘s What I Wore Wednesday with my Thanksgiving outfit!
I think my family would have T-Day dinner in sweats if they could, but every year I push for something a litter dressier. Hey, be thankful for what we have right??

Santa Baby
Ok dears. Here it is. I give you the so anthro Holiday Gift Guide.
Or, if you need it to be, my wishlist.
[1] A charm for Pandora/Chamilia bracelets, like this Pumpkin Coach one!
[2] These Kate Spade book clutches are adorable for any lover of all things classic. Choose between Emma, The Importance of Being Earnest, Romeo & Juliet, and A Tale of Two Cities.
[3] I have been lusting over these beautiful Joules Evedon Wellies ever since I first spotted them on Pinterest a couple months ago. I love my Hunters, but these would actually make me look forward to rain.
[4] American Apparel Poly Canvas and Leather Bow Clips. Ok, any bow clips really.
[5] I am loving Anthropologie’s new charm shop! They have the most delicate little charms to adorn necklaces with- so very Anthro of them 🙂
[6] Melting over these celestial blue leather gloves from J Crew.
[7] Dreaming of tropical temperatures with this Lilly Pulitzer Ditra Dress…
[8] And dreaming of a February birthday with this Lilly Pulitzer Angelie Dress.
[9] A BabyCakes Pie Pop Maker! Too cute. Or if you prefer cake pops, doughnuts, mini cupcakes, or whoopies pies, they have those too.
[10] And never can Santa go wrong with a pair of classic Tory Burch Reva Ballet Flats.
Hey, it’s nice to dream isn’t it?
Weekends at Home
These past four days were exactly what I needed. Weekends at our new home are perfectly filled with lots of:
I hope you all had wonderful Thanksgiving weekends full of whatever makes you happy too 🙂 Linking up with a {little} dash of ash with these Instagrams! Happy Monday!
Thankful.
Cue typical day-before-Thanksgiving post.
But in all seriousness, I have a lot to be thankful for.
I’ll keep it short and sweet. I feel so lucky everyday for my supportive family, near and far. For my friends, old and new. For CEM II, who can brighten my day in a second.
For dance, for a job I love, for the blogging community. For cakepops, sequins, bows, chai tea lattes, pink, Pinterest, and parades.
Wishing everyone a very happy, safe, and filling Thanksgiving tomorrow. I’ll be back on Monday 🙂

The Rookie
I probably have the coolest roommate in town.
Meet Kayla. Actress/TV Personality/Reporter/Reality Show-turned-Real Bartender/Fashionista/Bffl.
We had fun playing in the leaves + roaming around the waterfront during the beautiful fall day that was yesterday (can you say 66 degrees in November?) and she let me use her as a photo subject since I’ve finally dusted off my old Nikon.
To see more of the photos, make sure you like Kayla Harrity on Facebook, and if you want a laugh, you have got to check out her show, The Rookie Bartender!
