Because I’m doing so much entertaining these days (I’m not doing any entertaining these days), I’ve been having fun playing around with some holiday tablescape designs. Red isn’t really my aesthetic (though it is Melania’s!), so for a collaboration I did with Tea Forté, I opted for a blue and white Christmas tea party.
This blue band dinnerware set was a wedding gift that only recently have I dug out of the highest cupboards of our kitchen, and I’m so glad I got myself some mismatched blue & white vintage plates—something I’ve tried to track down at antique stores and flea markets for years but for which I finally gave into my dear friend Etsy. I scored the chinoiserie cake stand off of Poshmark but here are some other beaut options.
A true lifestyle and entertaining blogger would offer you recipes at this point. I, on the other hand, will remind you how delicious Whole Foods premade scones are. The Tea Forté Warming Joy collection really is delicious though—Spiced Ginger Plum and Raspberry Ganache? Drool. And you can use code ShellChicd20 for 20% off your purchase.
