Ellie turned sixteen one in July, and to celebrate we brought a little Maui to Massachusetts!
(I hate myself too.)
We threw an absolutely LIT first birthday luau party, by which I mean eight masked adults, six being over the age of 70, socially distanced and sipped weak mojitos at 3pm. We’ll do better next year.
But I really was darn proud of my entertaining. I needed something to distract myself from the fact that we’re living through two pandemics and my baby is a toddler so I may have gone a little overboard for such a tiny fiesta. Like the coconut room spray may have not been necessary.
