Shello hello from a woman who should be having a much easier time cleaning out her closet on account of wearing the same four outfits on repeat for the last 3 months!
Despite waiting for a sale, I did have slight regret at dropping nearly a benjamin on this Vineyard Vines fisherman sweater which is give or take the sixth white and/or cream cable knit in my wardrobe. Then again, I’ve worn it a minimum of twice a week since it came home with me so I suppose it will pay for itself soon enough. Or I could have just stuck with my trusty $18 Old Navy version. Whatever.
*Yes, men’s are cozier and I recommend. It’s one of the few things they do better than us.
These two tone riding boots and I have also been in a committed relationship for a v long time. I was gifted them five years ago (I had to look that up and here’s the evidence you’re welcome) by a company that’s no longer in business (RIP). I also wholeheartedly believe these boots speak to the elderly like Let It Go speaks to children; I receive at least one compliment every time I go out in public with them, yet only ever from geriatric folk.
Side note, was I a GD fashion risk taker in 2014 or what? Now the biggest risk fashion statement I make is unintentionally letting my nursing bra straps show.

I have this awesome thing called postpartum hair loss going on right now and I’m attempting to combat it with an array of headbands. S/o to my husband who picked up my BOPIS* J.Crew order for me. Which consisted literally of this single headband. Truly cannot think of many things more embarrassing for him and yet my man does it with a forced smile.
