A lot of things make me feel old. Watching my little sister get married. Mixing one gin & tonic and one glass of wine and being rewarded with a hangover. Knowing it’s been 20 years since Britney Spears first hit my Walkman. Turning down dinner out plans because I don’t want my HelloFresh meal to go to waste. And yet nothing makes me feel quite as old as listening to myself get giddy at the sight of a laundry room does.
I know, I hate myself too.
Our washing machine broke a few weeks ago which left me minimizing all the windows filled with West Elm couches I will no longer be able to afford and instead comparing energy efficiencies and debating the importance of extra spin cycles. Sexy stuff.
But along the way I came across some seriously dreamy laundry rooms. I 100p do not even HAVE a laundry room for the record, simply a 3″ x 3″ cutout for a washer and washer alone, but whatcha gonna do?
HOW CUTE IS JILLIAN HARRIS IN HER OVERALLS THO??
Have I purchased extra woven straw tote bags to use as laundry hampers idk you tell me?

Speaking of, I’ve also been trying to up my adult game by adding more fabric care to my routine—if millennials are killing dryer sheets it’s only because yummy Laundress fabric sprays now exist.
Each room is prettier than the last! Can’t wait for a day to have a laundry room with cute tile 😉
