One of the best—and worst—things about about marrying into a new last name? A new monogram.
(I can’t tell you how many of you goobers asked, what-the-goodness are you going to do with all of your monogrammed things when you get married?!?)
Well you just have to go on and treat yourself to some new goods dontcha?
If you’ve followed along for a while, you know I’m a bit personalized goods-obsessed. I’m guessing the infatuation came from either my dad (GNG) or my best friend (kTk) being the proud owners of perfectly monogrammable names. Or the fact that my mom hooked me up with one of these classics at an early age.
For jewelry though, I’ve become a big fan of Eve’s Addiction. In an over-saturated market of monogram it!!! jewelry vendors, this e-commerce retailer comes out on top in terms of value. Some of the best quality I’ve seen in a long time, at some of the most reasonable prices.
And no more 3-4 week wait time here– orders ship within 24 hours! Remember that the next time you forgot to pick up a birthday gift 🙂
Eve’s Addiction sent me this gold monogram necklace so that I could finally show off these brand-spankin’-new initials. Remember when I used to scoff at simple jewelry and claim the bigger the better? I’m growin up guys; this delicate pendant has turned into my go-to.
Looking for more of the classic monogram script? They’ve got that too.

Two years ago and change, right before I met A, I remember saying to someone that I didn’t want to buy anything new with a monogram since I was hoping it would change in the next few years. He looked me square in the eye and said, “Honey, find someone who can buy you all new monograms.”
Well now that I have a new monogram coming my way I have decided that while I won’t stop wearing my eLb stuff (except for my gold necklace that I almost never take off). That said, I CANNOT wait to order eDb goodies and register for lots of new monogrammed things :). I love your idea to give away the old stuff!! And it’s great to hear about a new monogram resource.
On that note, is it too soon to make my new GMail address…?

Awww hahah I love that!! TBH, I waited on ordering the above tote until after the wedding so I could add my new initials, it was a good excuse to not shop 😛 Do what I did– wear your eLb necklace to all of your pre-wedding bridal events, and then change into your new one for your reception or honeymoon 🙂
And oops about the fact that I still haven’t changed my gmail….

Totally agree- changing my name was a perfect excuse to get lots of new monogrammed items! I love this necklace, it’s great for every day wear. Luckily my mom has my same (old) monogram so she could take over most of my other items 🙂
