Mmmm let’s be real, I haven’t started a new semester in many moons now. But there’s something about starting off the year with a purchase for yourself that you can [attempt to] justify, based on resolutions. New stationary because you’re going to write more letters. New athletic pants because you’re going to run more. New cookbooks because you’re going to cook more.
Me? I want to get out more. Weekends specifically. I’m so go-go-go all week long lately that by the time I hit Saturday, the last thing I want to do is put on real clothes and leave the house if we have nothing on the calendar. Even if it’s just to take my laptop to a nearby coffee shop and blog there for a couple hours. Take my camera to a new neighborhood and practice sharpening those photo skills.
Joule’s sent me this leather bag, and I’m thinking it’s pretty perfect for these [mini] weekend adventures. Holds my laptop, agenda, and camera, but doesn’t feel like a normal, stiff computer bag. It’s soft leather but has a nice structure, and it comes in a sweet dusty pink as well! I’m smitten with it, and so many of their other handbags [“travel more” on your list? You need this.].
