I bought this dress that I adore so much for a wedding last summer, and I hate buying dresses + outfits for occasions like such only to never wear them again. Problem is, I keep associating this dress with wedding-wear, so it feels too fancy for everyday.
Solution: A lightweight summer scarf, to subtly dress it down.
Shawlsmith London sent me this adorable Seahorse Stamp scarf, and it worked just perfectly with the sweet orange lining of this recycled dress!

I totally agree with you! I hate buying a dress knowing that I’ll probably only wear it once. That’s why I am not a big fan of super trendy things and lean towards…. you go it… nautical, because it’s traditional and will always be in style in my book!
I wear scarves in the summer as well! This seahorse one is adorable. I love using accessories to change up the look of something from fancy to casual!
