Dress, Forever 21 [similar 1; 2] // Plaid cross body, Urban Outfitters [similar-ish] // Bracelets, Kiel James Patrick; Tiffany & Co. // Pearls, Urban Outfitters // Belt, vintage // Ballets flats, TOMS
Dear summer,
I’m not done with you yet.
Please don’t go away and leave me without opportunity to wear bright blues and sundresses and plaid picnic-ready purses and nautical jewelry and ballet flats that don’t require tights. I promise I’ll be better about embracing you. No more subways when I can walk and no more warm nights spent inside.
Love,
Emily

Ahhh summer, so sad it’s at its end. I love fall but I too am embracing the last of the warm days. Though I do admit to loving the cooler nights we’ve been having.

I somehow stumbled across your blog while looking for reviews of TOMS this evening. I am looking at purchasing my very first pair! I have read all sorts of stories on various websites about TOMS making feet really sweaty so I have been hesitant to buy a pair myself. Has this been your experience with TOMS or are your feet always dry when you wear them?
Fantastic blog, by the way! You have a new fan!
Sarah.

Hi Sarah! I swear my feet don’t sweat any more in TOMS than than normal flats! I think people complain that it’s the canvas style (as opposed to the ballet flats style in this post) that keeps your feet from breathing, but I’ve never found that to be true. I have four pairs and LOVE how comfortable they are, and there are million articles online for how to clean them if you do find that your feet get a bit sweaty/stinky. I hope this helps!!

Thank you! My feet sweat a lot when I wear Sperrys so I was worried I would have the same experience in TOMS! You are lucky to have sweat-free feet! Thank you for the advice! I look forward to following your blog!
