Here’s the thing about New England.
(and many other chilly climates, I imagine)
When spring arrives, we appreciate it so much more than most people I know would. It’s honestly like a ray of hope. While my friends in Los Angeles put on their winter coats at 60 degrees, 60 degrees in Boston brings out sundress and flip flops. So imagine the excitement of the population around here when it hit above 80 last week. EIGHTY. As in beach weather. In mid-March. I don’t care how pale I am, I needed to show some skin for this occasion.

Anddd maybe now we’re back to 50s and raining but it sure was lovely while it lasted. How many days until summer now??
I am exactly the same! Wearing a dress around Boston without tights feels like a luxury! That’s why we’re so lucky to have seasons, it makes us so grateful when the gorgeous weather does come around. Most people take it for granted.
Gorgeous dress and the flower adds the perfect flare.
I’m seriously missing these days right now. My poor hands are STILL freezing, and I’ve been at work for a half hour already! Not that I’m reading blogs at work or anything…
Just like the UK! Although we are enjoying some lovely unseasonable sunshine and heat at the moment – I too am making the most of it!

Try 20’s this morning, what?! Love the headband!
Girl you are working that headband.
You look so cute! I love that bird print dress. And yeah, I’m so ready for that weather to come back. Boots and coats and crazy winds are all so painful after last week’s sun and warmth. Great meeting you Saturday, by the way!
Your dress… SO cute!

I couldn’t agree with you more. It’s so wonderful when we have those first few magical days of spring. The city really comes alive. Your dress is so pretty!
[ Side note, I wore gloves today. Let’s get back to spring now, please! ]
I adore anything with a cute bird print and you look fantastic in that dress!
Ahhh I was totally one of those people that was always blessed to live in a warm climate and now that I don’t I can totally relate to this excitement! Also I am loving prints of crazy animals on it lately- great dress ๐

It was SO nice while it lasted right? I was rocking all my dresses again and now back to my dreary winter clothes this week. Love this bird print!!
Sorry if this is a dupe comment, WordPress is hating on me today! Anywho, love the dress, never get sick of the bird print!
I never get sick of the bird print!! Or nice weather, hopefully it comes back soon!
That dress is SO pretty! I’m totally hating that it’s back to 40s & 50s in Boston after last week – such a bummer!
