This past warm Saturday, I ventured out with my camera trying to soak up as much warm goodness as I could. Yet I found myself pretty darn uninspired. Face it kids, fall is long gone. And the colors of winter just aren’t rocking my world lately. So I stopped looking at landscapes and searching for remnants of orange and crisp leaves, and instead tried to pay attention to the mundane scenes on my street that I walk by every day but hardly pay attention to. And you know, I found them quite pretty.
Here’s the evidence via Instagram, and as always, linking up with a {little} dash of ash for Instagram Monday!

Just lovely! It’s always nice to appreciate the simple things that get overlooked on a daily basis.

What a great attitude! Makes us appreciate the little things.
In my neighborhood, you can find stenciled graffiti randomly on the sidewalk. They’re small, so you have to pay attention, but they usually say sweet or funny things like, “Smell ya later, Grandpa!” with a picture. So neat.
