I’ll be honest. Mixing prints terrifies me.
BUT I’m overcoming my fear by linking up with {long distance loving} for a Mix + Match Friday’s Fancies!
So maybe my polka dots + giraffe print isn’t too wild (or is it way too much?), but I’m new at this right? Plus throw in some very bright accessories from J Crew to bring out the colors in the dress and I’d say I’m really taking a chance here!
Belina Dress, Kate Spade, $375
Giraffe Print Scarf, Tolani, $99
Resin and Rondelle Necklace, J Crew, $39.50
Cashmere-Lined Leather Gloves, J Crew, $98
Mona Satin Pumps, J Crew, $198 (sale!)

lol I had trouble with this one too- I’m just not daring enough! Ended up using a lot of black to even things out ๐

One rule that I follow is to always stick to the same color palette when mixing prints. It is kinda the easy way out but it still makes for a very visually interesting look.
