I wish I could tell you what possessed us to—while living away from home—redo entire said home, but I cannot. My best guess? Our living/everything room, which we’ve been trying to perfect since the day we moved in, is nearly complete, and because we do not sit around and bask in our content in this family, we need a new project.
Kitchen it is then! We’re lucky in that it has no need for a full makeover or serious renovation work (joke’s probably going to be on me later), just a facelift. Think new countertops, painted cabinets, and fresh hardware…and maybe a new sink…and maybe a hint of backsplash (if you give a husband a cookie…).
Because there isn’t any real furniture or other defining features in our kitchen to work around, it feels like we can start with a totally blank slate. All I’m sold on is quartz counters and some sort of gray-blue color palette for the rest of the space. Pinterest and I have been getting hot and heavy lately, so I figure I’d share some of the love with you all (and selfishly organize all of my paint color options in one place).

And not because we need anything but because my fantasy features the whole damn HGTV-level reveal with ~all new appliances and accessories~ here’s what I’ve been adding to my cart thinking about:

Hopefully bb soon with our Brookline kitchen renovation! Best case? We live to tell the tale.

I have been looking for the tile you have in your first kitchen picture on this page. Its blues and grays and whites and maybe a little tans. Can you tell me where that was purchased from? I love the cement tiles, but they are so thick that it makes it hard to use them for a backsplash. Then it effects my trim etc… Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!!!
