A new year, a new color palette!
Greenery was recently revealed as the PANTONE Color of the Year 2017. And I’ll be honest with ya. Not sure if I’m feeling it yet. I’m most attracted to either side of the hue—dark emeralds or pale mints. Greenery is just a liiiiitttle too mossy for me. Yet, like most things, once it becomes a trend, I’m sure I’ll be giving it a second look.

And I can’t deny that I love the words behind it::
“Greenery bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the reassurance we yearn for amid a tumultuous social and political environment. Satisfying our growing desire to rejuvenate and revitalize, Greenery symbolizes the reconnection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose.“
—Leatrice Eiseman of the Pantone Color Institute

Loving your picks Emily! I am kind of the same thinking a pastel hue would be more my style, but green always looks good with pink so I guess I can get behind it!
