The saga continues. Half a step closer to completing starting our bathroom renovation.
Last we chatted, I was having a love affair with tile. Hubs is on board with it(?!), and we had a fun #adulting trip to the tile store last night.
One thing he’s not into? My dreamy wallpaper bathroom.

Practical shmactical. A slice of that palm wallpaper? Gives me life.
Having no experience with actually being a homeowner to a wallpaper-adorned bathroom, I may not be the best person to take advice from, but in case you trust me, here are a few things I’ve at least picked up on from my weeks and weeks of pinning::
1 // Floor to ceiling is a lot. Like, a lot a lot. It’s going to look busy, especially in a small space. Stick with either an accent wall, or only wallpaper above the wainscoting, and keep the bottom half of the room painted or tiled.
2 // No natural light = no dark wallpaper. Pretty sure the last room you want to feel dark and confined in is your bathroom. In the shower in a dark room with dark walls sounds like a cheesy horror movie.
3 // Consider the rest of the rooms’ fixtures and appliances. Going modern with chrome? Maybe steer clear from shabby chic or Rifle Paper Co. But then again I’ve never been great at pattern mixing so you can go on and ignore me if that does happen to pique your senses.

Um – I am a fan of wallpaper in the bathroom!! I’m not necessarily a fan of floor to ceiling wallpaper on all walls, but in certain cases, I think it is so perfect! Can’t wait to see your finished product, girly!
