I had big, big plans for my camera on our trip to Miami last week, but for some reason down there, piña coladas and laying comatose by the pool became serious priorities, and Mr. Nikon didn’t see much outside of my suitcase.
I did, however, pull it out for a day that included shopping and eating our way down Lincoln Road [Havana 1957 is a MUST] and a walk along Miami Beach. I never thought a city like Miami would be very much my style, but my oh my it was hard not to love!

I second birdietobe – great dress! My in-laws live about 2 hours north of Miami, so a trip down has been on the to-do list for some time. And I hear you on #palepeopleproblems – I’m a bridesmaid in two weeks and the dress is blush (only slightly pinker than my current skin tone). Ugh!

I just returned from Miami as well! I stayed in South Beach and was there the 21st-25th of March! We ate at Havana 1957 too! I had never had Cuban food before and I loved it. We also had dinner at Barton G one night, super pricey but oh so unique. If you ever go back you must check it out.
