I have a tendency to stick to one color palette with my outfits [right down to the nail polish— today’s is After School Boy Blazer by Essie], to the point where it almost becomes matchy-matchy. I put this outfit on other day, realized I was giving into my bad habit, and therefore decided to add a pop of pattern and additional color with my new Merona leopard pumps from Target. Much better.
And why yes! My legs are that pale. Any hint of a summer bronze is long gone for this girl!
How do you add fun pops to your everyday outfits?
I love the monochrome palate! It always leaves room for that one real pop and those shoes are definitely amazing. I love them!
Also, I always feel so creepy being the first one to comment like right after it goes live but your posts always happen to come up right when I get into work haha!

i LOVE those lace shorts so much! the whole outfit is adorable. and no worries about being pale – i just had 3 suspicious moles removed and am all stitched up so i am embracing my natural paleness from here on out!

Love this! I agree–the leopard was a nice way to break it all up. I find I stick to one palette and will even force myself to buy colors and cuts I wouldn’t usually just so my closet doesn’t even up looking all the same.
