This shirt does not sit well on me. But with ruffles, pastel birds, and a peplum frill, it’s still a favorite spring piece of mine. As are these yellow jeans. Which I’m realizing go with about ninety percent of my closet somehow… :)

I go through different color-combination crushes often. You may remember it was navy blue + kelly green a few weeks ago, and right now it’s pale pink + gold. I’m thinking that means it’s Nutcracker season and all the ballet-inspired looks are getting to me…!
Wishing everyone a wonderful, safe, and filling Thanksgiving! xx
I’ve developed a new love for a certain long-legged pink bird lately, seen in the LC Lauren Conrad dress above, as well as this Lilly skirt. Is it possible to not feel happy while flamingos adorn your clothing? Don’t think so.
One of my favorite things about visiting my parents’ house is rediscovering old treasures that have been hiding in the attic or back of my closet. Most recent find? Plastic Kate Spade heels.
Oh it’s been too long.

-I own two hats that I love but that are also a bit embarrassing. A sequin beret and a winter panda hat with ear flaps. Yeah. On the same day this week, I saw what appeared to be a 3-year old wearing my panda hat, and who I assumed to be was his grandmother wearing my sequin beret. Starting to question my life choices.
-Flash mobs. I may or may not have been in one. You can see the evidence on NBC News here.
-My neighborhood sushi chef recognizes me now. Too many Philadelphia Rolls have I eaten recently.
-Dance show this weekend!! Grueling tech rehearsals leading up to it, but the final result is always so worth it.
-Grandeskinnypeppermintmochas getting me through these long nights!
-One of my good bloggy friends, Jennifer, sponsors causes every month on her blog. Right now she is teaming up with Awake & Alive to help them open a school for students in Ethiopia next fall. You can learn more about it here, but know that just $10 provides uniforms for a child. Think of how much we spend (or spent) on clothes for one school year…. more than $10 I bet ;) Plus Jen will give you a month of advertising space for every $5 you donate! Now getyoselves over there and support an inspirational woman and a great cause!
I adore Paper Crown, but since that’s a little out of my everyday price range, I am loving that Lauren Conrad now has a line for [blast from my past] Kohl’s.
I’m pretty sure the price point is a bit higher than what I remember paying for Mudd (!) and other Kohl’s brands back in the day, but still not bad at all. Check out some of my favorites from her fall collection, think I’ll be taking a trip to the suburb strip mall soon for a few of these…
