Cozy in the Parlor

Bonjour sweater, ASOS // Pleated skirt, Urban Outfitters [similar] // Swiss Dot Tights, Kate Spade [similar] // Pearl Trident Bracelet, c/o Plukka // Other bracelets, Bfrend; Skiler Love // Garance Dore Georgie, Kate Spade // Patent flats, Kimchi Blue via Urban Outfitters [similar]

Back to the grind everyone! After the cheer of Christmas is over, I find it hard to keep up motivation before spring comes around again. That goes for a few things, but most of all, for dressing. Working in a particularly chilly office with a casual dress code, it’s easy to slip into the trap of jeans, cardigans, and [forgive me] Uggs on a daily basis. My goal for January is to take advantage of tights, cute but not too casual sweaters, and warm riding boots [not pictured...].

How are you planing to stay warm, but chic, throughout the rest of the winter months?

Peter Pan

red sweater peter pan collar

Sweater, H&M [similar] // Peter Pan Statement Collar c/o Sincerely Sweet Boutique // Denim cutoffs, Forever 21 // Bow earrings, BCBG [similar 1; 2] // Swiss Dot Tights, Kate Spade // Clutch, Garance Dore for Kate Spade [shape; print] // Patent flats, Urban Outfitters [similar 1; 2]

I have just loved the peter pan collar trend that’s been gaining traction over the last year, but have always been too shy to try it– until I received this dainty little one from Sincerely Sweet Boutique. It was just the right amount of statement and fit easily with this oversized knit, and had a vintage feel without being too in-your-face, or little girl-ish. I also love their Timeless Addendum and Austen Society Lace Trim Vintage Collars– such sweet little touches to add to outfits!

Garance Doré for Kate Spade New York

This weekend I stopped in Kate Spade New York‘s Newbury Street store, where they were celebrating French fashion blogger Garance Doré and her illustrations featured as a part of the brand’s new capsule collection. I am absolutely smitten with this line: peter pan collars, French script, and bow details– what is not to j’adore?

Rainey Dress, $498
Studio Pull Over, $128
Laura Top, $248
Umbrella, $78
Georgie Pouch, $98
iPhone Case, $40
Julia Wristlet, $88
Massie Bag, $348

All in all, I would like to get my hands on one of these pieces more than most things. Which is your favorite?
