And in today’s episode of Emily the Anglophile.
I knew The Langham Boston for its gorgeous historical exterior, shmancy AF lounge BOND, and sweet pink taxi cab for guests. What I didn’t know is that they have one of the
most Instagrammable best afternoon teas in the city.
Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood is a tradition dating back to 1865, when it was first held at The Langham London, the brand’s flagship. I would quite honestly live off of cucumber & cream cheese sandwiches and fresh scones with clotted cream should you ask me to, though what really made this tea stand out was the creative cocktails. We turned into total lushes at the sight of their G & Tea – literally, an infused gin + tea cocktail. The Truffled Egg Salad or Maple Custard Cream Puffs with Pumpkin Crystals weren’t terrible either though, I suppose.
But what I’ll be going back to The Langham Boston for is its Saturday Chocolate Bar. This may or may not be intended for children, but if you’re an adult that isn’t drooling at the thought of a make-your-own-donut bar then I’d prefer our relationship stops here.
High tea, donut walls, and a pink taxi cab? If The Langham Boston isn’t on brand, then I don’t know what is.
