The North Shore

On the east coast of Massachusetts, Boston sits in between the North Shore and the South Shore. I’m a South Shore girl personally, always have been, but last weekend we hopped in the car and traveled north of the city for once, making stops in the towns of Gloucester and Salem. I hate to admit it, but the North’s beauty is undeniable. See for yourself…

This couple is inspiring me to visit more small towns that I’ve shamefully never been to within my own state. My dear Massholes– where do you suggest?

  1. can you believe i’ve never been to salem!? shameful, as a life long MA resident! i need to get there- great shots.

  2. I haven’t been do Salem in years, but you’re making me want to get there ASAP! I also want to go on a whale watch because I’m a child.

  3. My husband is a South Shore boy too, but I love Gloucester and Salem. They’re both so beautiful (though Salem can be a little insane this time of year!).

  4. Sigh… I love Boston. These pictures are great!

  5. I bet visiting Salem is the best this time of year! And it looks like a nautical lover’s dream there!
