I’ve had a total crush on pink and gold lately, and it’s been the perfect excuse to break out The Chanel Ring.

It’s by no means straight out of the jewelry department… it’s actually just an old button from a Chanel suit that some craft angel turned into a ring. I found it in a tiny vintage store in Florence when I studied there a few summers ago. It’s way too big and might have cost me a few euros more than I should have paid, but where else am I going to find something like this? It’s the one-of-a-kind pieces I can justify spending just a tiny bit more on. Plus whenever I wear it I’m instantly transfered back to standing on the Ponte Vecchio bridge that summer day :)

Also, side note: that blazer has shoulder pads. Forever 21… the 80s called and… well, you know.

  1. Anything and everything Chanel is always lovely. I’m trying desperately to save my money for a quilted bag. Trying is the key word haha :)

  2. You’re so cute and that ring is such a neat idea. That’s funny what you said about the shoulder pads. Are they making a return?

  3. Loving the ring and I must agree. Pink and gold are a lovely colour combo. Great blazer! I bought one a couple of weeks ago from Forever 21 as well and it fits like a glove.

  4. I Call It Lovely

This is so cute! Love the white blazer and your hair looks adorable like that. And who takes your pictures by the way?

  5. I think you look gorgeous honey. I didn’t notice the shoulder pads… but my white blazer from f21 has them too, now that I think of it, and I still wear it…and love it. Wish they weren’t in it, but then again, I don’t think they’re that prominent looking.

Anyway! haha, you look stunning! I love this outfit and the ring… I’d pay a little extra for it too!
